CONCORD, N.H. - This week New Hampshire's Division of Motor of Vehicles will start posting wait times for its five busiest locations in Concord, Nashua, Manchester, Dover and Salem.
Starting today, current wait times for the busiest DMV locations can be found at www.nh.gov/dmv.
As of 11:30 a.m., the busiest location was in Nashua with 12 people in line. The wait time was around 15 minutes. Salem was next on the list with 8 people in line with a 22 minute wait.

According to a DMV release, wait times will be updated by the recently installed queuing system which tracks the wait time from when a customer receives a ticket at the greeter counter to when he or she is called to the counter to complete a transaction.
“We are continually looking for ways to improve a customer’s experience at our offices,” DMV Director Elizabeth Bielecki said in a statement. “By providing wait time information online, our customers will be able to plan their DMV visit to fit within their daily schedule.”

Customers are encouraged to prepare for their DMV visit by following these tips:
- Visit www.nh.gov/dmv to determine what you need to complete your transaction.
- Print out and complete required forms at home ahead of your visit.
- Avoid peak times. The first and last weeks of the month are typically the busiest, especially Mondays and Fridays. Try visiting mid-morning or mid-afternoon for reduced wait times.
