New Hampshire Firefighter Killed in SCUBA Accident in Gloucester
The small town of Swanzey, New Hampshire is mourning the loss of a longtime firefighter, after he passed away in Gloucester, MA.
GLOUCESTER, M.A. - The small town of Swanzey, New Hampshire is mourning the loss of a longtime firefighter.
According to the Swanzey Fire Dept. Facebook, Lieutenant Benjamin Tatro, a 20-year veteran of the Swanzey Fire Department was killed during a SCUBA diving accident in Gloucester on Monday.
Lt. Tatro served as Lieutenant on Ladder 1 - Station 3, an Advanced EMT, and was a skilled Rescue Diver with the Water Rescue Task Force.

"We join the Tatro Family in grieving the loss of our Brother and friend who had been so deeply involved in the Swanzey community for his entire life. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be posted as they become available.," the post read.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
