CONCORD, N.H. - Featured as last week's “Fugitive of the week”, a New Hampshire resident was found in Italy using a fake identity. According to U.S. Marshals, Julion Parker, 26 was located and arrested in Italy on Monday, May 21.
Parker was indicted on May 16 in Federal Court in Concord by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and making false statements during the acquisition of a firearm.
According to court documents, Parker had a prior similar case in 2012 and is alleged to have once again obtained a firearm illegally in 2017 resulting in these new charges.
Although authorities received several tips after Park was featured on "Fugitive of the Week", U.S. Marshals were responsible for tracking down Parker who fled the country using a new identity of Andrew Owen Lima.
Working with several federal agencies, U.S. Marshals intercepted Parker as he arrived on a flight into Rome, Italy. Parker was arrested and is currently being detained pending the decision to either deport him to the United States or to go through a formal extradition proceeding in Italy.
