Milford Flags At Half-Staff For John McCain

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire flags were ordered at half-staff this week in honor of John McCain, the Arizona senator who died this week at the age of 81 following a battle with brain cancer. New Hampshire was McCain's "second-favorite state" and he won the New Hampshire primary twice — first in 2000 and again in 2008. Governor Chris Sununu made the half-staff order.

Sununu called McCain "an honorary Granite Stater and American hero."

The half-staff order runs through September 2.
