NH Police Searching for Transitional Housing Resident

Police are searching for a woman who walked away from the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit on Friday in Concord.

CONCORD, NH - Police are asking New Hampshire residents to keep an eye out for a woman who walked away from the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord on Friday.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections said Ann-Marie Ruggles, 45, of Tilton, New Hampshire left the transitional housing unit after she was given permission to go on an outing on Friday, April 20 and never returned.

Ruggles is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds.

She is serving a 1 ½- to 4 year sentence for a drug conviction – opium derivative, out of Merrimack County Superior Court. She was admitted to the NH Correctional Facility for Women on June 5, 2017 and was eligible for parole on October 18, 2018. Her maximum release date is April 20, 2021.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call a local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Police.

Walking away from a correctional facility can result in an Escape conviction, which is a Class B felony punishable by 3 ½ - 7 years in prison.
