Pretty soon we'll all be heating up our ovens and preparing to create fantastic Thanksgiving repasts for our family and friends.
Daily, out in Weare, a familiar face in Concord works tirelessly and with a great deal of love in her kitchen, concocting all kinds of amazing treats for our "four-leggers" as Doris Day affectionately refers to her pets.
Using the finest healthy ingredients, many gathered from the farmers who sell their goods at our local Farmers Market, Maydene Koppel who owns Mrs. Beasley's Dog Treats, creates a plethora of tasty and healthy treats to reward your dog with.
She can be found throughout the late spring, summer and fall, at Concord's Farmer's Market on Capitol Street, usually surrounded by local dogs and their owners who regularly descend upon her tent.
Every Saturday, through next spring, she's happily ensconced at the Saturday Farmer's Market at Cole Gardens from 10 until 2.
Pay her a visit and find out why her homemade goodies won't make your family dog pack on the pounds during the holidays or anytime for that matter.
Last week Maydene stopped by WKXL to appear on my show, "Downtown Dialogues". We talked about the work she loves to do and why you should check her out.
