Panera Bread Donates Nearly $26K To New Hampshire Food Bank
The franchisee for a dozen locations of the bakery-cafes in the state made the donation as part of its Feed America initiative.

CONCORD, NH — The franchisee of a dozen Panera Bread locations in New Hampshire made a donation to the state's large food pantry.
PR Management Corp., which runs 12 Paneras in New Hampshire as well as other locations in Maine and Massachusetts, donated $25,800 to the New Hampshire Food Bank. The company made the donation as part of its Feeding America initiative.
"We hope this donation assists the New Hampshire Food Bank continue their incredible work of assisting those families who experience food insecurity," David Peterman, co-founder and partner of PR Management Corp., said. "We thank the New Hampshire Food Bank for all of their remarkable efforts helping those in families in need across the Granite State."

The company owns Paneras in Bedford, Concord, Derry, Dover, Keene, Manchester, Nashua, Plaistow, Portsmouth, Salem, Seabrook, and West Lebanon. During the past two months, it has donated $111,200 to food banks in three states.

"The New Hampshire Food Bank is incredibly grateful to PR Management, Panera Bread, and all of their customers for their continued generosity and support," Eileen Groll Liponis, the executive director of the New Hampshire Food Bank, said. "Unfortunately, the pandemic has caused an increase in food insecurity among New Hampshire residents. An estimated one in seven people in New Hampshire do not know when or where their next meal will come from, including 21 to 23 percent of children. Partnerships like this are critical in helping us feed our neighbors experiencing hunger."
