Parenting New Hampshire Nets National Media Award
Parenting New Hampshire was honored at the 2017 Editorial and Design Awards at the Parenting Media Association's annual awards.

CONCORD, NH - Parenting New Hampshire, celebrating 25 years, was honored at the 2017 Editorial and Design Awards at the Parenting Media Association’s annual meeting in Florida on Mar. 2.
The magazine, edited by Melanie Hitchcock, won eight awards, including seven gold awards for Best Website (Morgen Connor), Humor Column (Bill Burke), Travel Feature (Bill Burke), Special Series (Melanie Plenda), Publisher’s/Editor’s Note (Melanie Hitchcock), Ancillary Publication Design (Family Summer Fun Guide – Nancy Tichanuk, designer) and Ancillary Publication General Excellence (Family Summer Fun Guide – Melanie Hitchcock, editor; Jacqueline Tourville, writer); and a bronze award for Profile Story (Pamme Boutselis).
The PMA, a nonprofit representing the family media market since 1988, received 560 entries for 2017 magazines issues and digital products. Prof. Reuben Stern of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism coordinated the annual contest.
