Pittsfield Motorcyclist Accused Of Riding At 115 MPH, Swallowing Drugs
Habitual offender Nathaniel Bergeron was accused of riding through Concord on I-93, gulping down heroin in Canterbury, being tracked by K-9.

CONCORD, NH ? A felon with several active cases was accused of driving 115 mph on a motorcycle through Concord and Canterbury on Friday and attempting to flee police at a rest area ? but was tracked down by a New Hampshire State Police K-9.
Around 12:30 a.m., a state trooper on Interstate 93 north in Concord was running radar and monitoring traffic when they reported seeing a motorcycle speeding. It was clocked at 115 mph, Amber Lagace, a public information officer, stated. The trooper attempted to stop the motorcyclist, but they fled.
A short time later, the trooper located the motorcyclist walking the bike on the offramp to Canterbury Rest Area.

The rider, Nathaniel J. Bergeron, 27, of Pittsfield, was accused of fleeing into the woods of the median of the highway.
?Bergeron also informed troopers that, while fleeing in the woods, he had ingested heroin,? Lagace said.

State police brought ?Jax,? a K-9, to the scene and Bergeron was found and taken into custody.
?Troopers requested an ambulance to the scene and worked to keep Bergeron conscious and alert until EMS personnel arrived,? she added.
Bergeron was taken to Concord Hospital and then the county jail. He was arrested on several active warrants and charged with a felony count of habitual offender, disobeying an officer, reckless operation, and resisting arrest or detention. He was arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court.
Assisting state police were the Boscawen and Northfield police departments, the Canterbury Fire Department, the Penacook Rescue team, and Matt Brown?s Truck Repair.
Bergeron had active warrants for preventative detention on Sept. 13 connected to a habitual offender, criminal trespass, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, and reckless operation charges out of Farmington from Aug. 19; failure to appear in court on July 10 on theft and habitual offender charges out of Concord from March and April; failure to appear at the arraignment on July 10 on two acts prohibited charges out of Concord from May 12; and failure to appear in court on a habitual offender charge from March 17 out of Concord.
Bergeron also has an active theft case out of Concord from June 10; an active habitual offender and criminal trespass case out of Concord from June 23; an active habitual offender and theft case in Warner from June 30; and an active habitual offender, receiving stolen property, operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle license, and misuse of plates case after an incident in Concord on Aug. 31.
Bergeron, according to superior court records, was arrested on a burglary charge in Pittsfield when he was a teenager in July 2014, but the charge was dismissed nine months later.
In 2017, he was charged with acts prohibited, forgery, and breach of bail after incidents in Concord and pleaded guilty to the forgery and drug charges in February 2018, making him a felon.
Bergeron pleaded down robbery and criminal threatening charges in Concord in August 2018 to simple assault and theft in November 2018.
In Barnstead, he was accused of drug possession in December 2018. Bergeron pleaded guilty to the charge in July 2019.
He also pleaded guilty to unauthorized use, conduct after an accident, and driving after revocation or suspension in April 2021 after an incident in Hooksett.
Bergeron also pleaded guilty to a felony delivery of articles charge on April 6 after a November 2021 incident in Berlin. He also pleaded guilty on Aug. 10 to a habitual offender charge out of Barnstead from May.
