Services Held Today for Rundlett Student

The life of 12-year-old Natalie Velez-Roark of Concord will be celebrated today; McAuliffe students offer family a card.

As reported on Patch earlier this week, Natalie Velez-Roark of Concord, passed away suddenly at the hospital after an illness on May 27, 2015.

Services are being held today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home on North Main Street in Concord.

Many in the community immediately asked what they could do for the family and one Concord class took it upon themselves to do something special. According to NH1 News, Michael Pelletier, who was Natalie’s teacher at the McAuliffe Elementary School last year, had his students put together a card for the family. Students also wore pink, her favorite color, to celebrate her life.
