LOUDON, NH — The Flat Track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon kicks off the 2020 racing season with a snocross event this weekend. The Eastern Snocross Tour will debut on the speedway's snow-covered dirt track Saturday and Sunday. It's the first ever snowmobile event at The Flat Track.

"We’re looking forward to a full season of racing on our newest racing surface, The Flat Track," said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. "As New Englanders, we all know the cold and the snow is inevitable, and many of our fans already embrace the winter months by riding snowmobiles throughout the state. The Flat Track’s lineup will give them another reason to love racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway."

Snocross is sanctioned by the International Snowmobile Racing committee and features professional rides from the northeast. There are two qualifying rounds prior to the final races which will be Saturday night, under lights at the track. There are seven Snocross events this year around the East Coast.
