A Soggy But Fun Fourth Of July In Concord: Watch

Independence Day festivities, which were canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, were held despite the rain in Concord.

CONCORD, NH — Come hell or high water … or, soggy grass, mud, and drizzle, actually, the city was going to have its Independence Day festivities on Sunday. And they did.

Canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic last year, this year, no one wanted to cancel even if there was some rain. And it all went off with a bang. Or, 20-minutes worth of banging and booming via fireworks, actually.

While there were not as many revelers as a normal turnout, on a hot summer evening, those who showed up had a great time — and let it be known, with hoots and hollers, at the end.
