Streets Closed For NH Law Enforcement Memorial, Other Events

Streets will be closed downtown and in the West End for the Rock 'n Race 5K/Payson Center fundraiser and the Concord YMCA block party.

CONCORD, NH — Residents in Concord can expect streets closed to traffic due to three events this week, according to alerts from the city. On Thursday, May 16, a number of streets around the city will be closed for the 17th Annual Rock ‘n Race event to benefit the Payson Center for Cancer Care. North State Street at Pleasant Street (north) will be closed from 4 to 8:30 p.m.

Also, North State Street at Centre Street (south) will be closed from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Green Street between Centre and School streets will be closed from 6 to 8 p.m. Park Street between North Main and North State streets (east) from noon to 8:30 p.m. Warren Street between Green and North State streets will be closed from 4 to 7 p.m. or until the last walker passes through the event.

On Friday, May 17, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Capitol Street from Green to North State streets, and North State Street from School to Centre streets will be closed for the New Hampshire Enforcement Officers’ Memorial.

Also on Friday, the Concord YMCA will be hosting its annual community block party from 3 to 9 p.m. Warren Street between Green and North State streets will be closed to all traffic.
