SUV Crashes Into Wall, Downtown Concord Banner Pole

A Toyota SUV crashed on South Main Street on Tuesday. A woman was taken to Concord Hospital.

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to South Main and Thorndike streets for a report of a crash on Tuesday.

Around 1:20 a.m., a Toyota RAV4 SUV reportedly crashed into a wall, fire hydrant, and steel sign banner pole. The driver, a woman, was injured.

Around 1:50 a.m., EMTs examined the driver and took her to Concord Hospital with minor injuries. A firefighter also told dispatch that Concord General Services would need to inspect both the pole and hydrant for damages.
