The Joy of Giving!!

The people of the Greater Concord Community have a longstanding history of caring about others and giving generously of their time as well as providing monetary support.

Concord has a great many worthwhile non-profits that provide services for virtually every need. Staffed by people who understand compassion and caring, not just during the Holiday Season but year round, they also receive assistance from volunteers who give of their time and talents.

Jessica Fogg is one of those dynamos that help to define our City as a special place. She understands that one person can truly make a difference as well as inspire others to take the leap and lend their hearts to causes that impact upon our friends and neighbors.

I have been fortunate to get to know Jessica over the past months and she brings a joie de vivre to everything she does and every life she touches.

Recently she made her third appearance on my WKXL program, "Downtown Dialogues", bringing with her an important message about pausing for a moment during the hectic holidays and giving to those who deeply appreciate a donation, no matter how small it may be.

Jessica and I also discussed the importance of considering a monthly donation to an organization that will help those in need year round.

You can click on her website and get more details about some of the great organizations we discussed:

I would also invite you to click on the link to hear our chat on WKXL. It just might inspire you to reach into your pocket and make that difference:
