Truck, Car Crash Head-On In Hooksett; 3 Ambulances Respond

A truck and car collided on Cross Road, injuring three. Two ambulances from Hooksett and a Bow Ambulance took the patients to the hospital.

HOOKSETT, NH — Hooksett firefighters and police were sent to an accident involving a box truck and a car on Cross Road on Thursday.

Police arrived at the scene and had three men in the box truck and two women in the car. All of them needed medical evaluation. Hooksett Fire dispatched an additional ambulance, and a third ambulance was requested by mutual aid from Bow.

The three ambulances transported two women and a man with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries to area hospitals. Two men refused medical transport.

The accident occurred on a sharp curve and the initial investigation shows the passenger car crossed into the lane of the truck. Hooksett police are investigating the accident and it remains under investigation.

Cross Road was closed for more than an hour as crews gave medical aid to the patients, and police investigated the accident.
