Voting By Mail: Take The New Hampshire Patch Survey

NEW HAMPSHIRE — Among the thorniest questions raised by the coronavirus pandemic is that of conducting elections, with voters worrying whether they can visit polling places Nov. 3 without exposing themselves to the disease.

For that reason, record numbers of people are expected to cast their ballots by mail.

Recent operational changes within the U.S. Postal Service, however, including the elimination of overtime for postal workers and the decommissioning of mail-sorting machines, have reportedly led to widespread delays in delivering mail and raised fears that mailed-in ballots will not be delivered in time to be counted.

Patch wants to hear from readers about their intentions for voting in the upcoming election, so we've created this brief survey. It is not meant to be a scientific poll, with random sampling and margins of error, but is meant only to gauge the sentiments of our readers in an informal way.
