Allan Herschlag has been a regular contributor, through his blogs, to Concord Patch, almost since its inception.
However, if you think you really know the man from his detailed, well thought out and very precise blogs, think again.
For nearly 40 years Allan has been a member of our community - living, working and playing - and not afraid to speak up when he feels that someone should. He is both tireless and fearless in his beliefs and in making our community better for everyone - resident, business owner and visitor.
Currently he is a candidate for City Council and the Concord Monitor endorsed him in an editorial today.
Last week I finally had the opportunity to meet Allan in person when he stopped by WKXL to chat with me on my program, "Downtown Dialogues".
Here is a link to that discussion which, regardless of how you are leaning in next week's election, should be required listening by anyone who wants to understand a bit more about Concord and what makes the city tick.
