3 Trunk Or Treat Events In Manahawkin, LBI
Here are some opportunities for children to trick or treat in safe environments.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The kids will have plenty of opportunities to load up on candy in safe environments. Three Trunk or Treat events will take place Oct. 25 and 26 in Manahawkin and on Long Beach Island.
"Trunk or Treat" events allow people to decorate their vehicle trunks for Halloween. Kids trick-or-treat to each car. It's regarded as a safer Halloween alternative for young children.

Beach Haven Moose 1st Annual Trunk or Treat
6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25 / Beach Haven Moose Lodge 1575

The Beach Haven Moose Lodge is getting into the Trick or Trunk game. Admission is $10 per decorated car or trunk (children are included in the price, and you bring your own candy. Or $5 per child just to "Trunk or Treat."
Admission includes a treat bag, spooky walk, games, music and chance to vote on "best decorated trunk." The winner earns a cash prize.
There will be hot dogs, burgers, chips, water, soda and baked goods available for purchase.

Trunk or Treat at St. Mary Academy
1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 / 400 Doc Cramer Blvd., Manahawkin
Kids can dress up and trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk in the school parking lot. Admission is $2 per child to support cancer research.
Surf City's 5th Annual Trunk or Treat
6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 (rain date 4-6 p.m. Oct. 27)
A new Surf City tradition returns, and it's free. Sponsorships are due by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 to ensure your business or group will be included on the event banner. Sponsorship ensures the event has no shortage of candy, snacks, crafts and entertainment.
