No Injuries Reported In Rear-End Crash On Causeway Bridge

A Manahawkin woman was issued a summons for careless driving Thursday after she hit the rear of a car on the Causeway Bridge, police said.

STAFFORD, NJ — A Manahawkin woman was issued a summons for careless driving Thursday after striking the rear of a car on the Causeway Bridge, police said.

Mallory Roselli, 35, of Clinton, New York was driving east on the Causeway Bridge and slowed down for traffic when Karli Ruff, 19, of Manahawkin crashed into the rear of Roselli’s car, Stafford police said.

After striking the rear of the Grand Cherokee, Ruff hit the jersey barrier located in the median of the Causeway Bridge and landed on top of the barrier.

No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Traffic was delayed for about 30 minutes.

Ruff was issued a summons for careless driving.
