Areas Of Long Beach Boulevard Closed Due To 'Extreme' Flooding

Extreme flooding inundated parts of Long Beach Boulevard near 31st Street southbound and 13th Street northbound, authorities said.

LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ —Extreme flooding inundated parts of Long Beach Boulevard at 31st Street southbound and 13th Street northbound, authorities said.

Long Beach Township police announced that those roads were closed off at 1:37 p.m. through a Nixle alert, advising drivers to utilize back roads for travel.
