Artwork Needed For Turtle Crossing Signs In Stafford
The winning artwork in the contest will be added to lawn signs and displayed in areas where diamondback terrapins cross roadways to nest.
STAFFORD, NJ — There's still time to submit artwork to Stafford Township’s turtle crossing sign contest.
The winning artwork will be added 100 lawn signs for residents to display in areas where diamondback terrapins cross roadways to nest.
The Stafford Township Green Team is overseeing the contest alongside the Marine Academy of Technology & Environmental Science’s Project Terrapin.

Project Terrapin is a volunteer, conservation and education initiative to support the Northern Diamondback Terrapin and its habitat through research.
The contest is open to all grade levels. All entrees are due in a PDF format by midnight on Friday, April 30 to projectterrapin@gmail.com. The winner will earn terrapin apparel and a Target gift card.

Submissions must include original artwork and large, readable text. Artwork must be submitted in a landscape format using standard 8.5 by 11 inch paper.
