AutoZone, Dollar General Coming To Plaza In Barnegat

BARNEGAT, NJ — Dollar General and AutoZone will become part of Barnegat's newest retail center. Land has been cleared in the area of the Exit 67 Town Center, making way for several retail establishments to come to the area.

WP Barnegat LLC of Media, Pennsylvania received approval from the township to build the Dollar General and AutoZone in the plaza at the corner of Sandpiper Road and West Bay Avenue. A webpage for Metro Commercial, a brokerage marketing the property, also lists Domino's and Mattress Warehouse as tenants.

But Barnegat Planning and Zoning Board Administrator Stacey Cole told Patch she can only confirm Dollar General and AutoZone. Patch contacted WP Barnegat LLC and will update this article when the company returns comment.

The Barnegat 67 project includes apartments for seniors age 55 and over, along with several retail establishments.
