Barnegat-Area Coronavirus Update: Pet Valu Closing, Case Increase

BARNEGAT, NJ — Here are the latest coronavirus updates regarding Barnegat and Manahawkin.

Cases

The Ocean County Health Department has reported 513 coronavirus cases in and 28 deaths in Stafford as of Thursday afternoon. That's an increase of 41 cases and one fewer person in the death toll since Barnegat-Manahawkin Patch's last update Nov. 3.

The OCHD has tallied 411 cases and 12 deaths in Barnegat as of Thursday afternoon — an increase of 30 cases an no new deaths since Nov. 3.

Officials reported 189 new cases in Ocean County, bringing the area to 18,080 cases and 1,016 deaths.
