BARNEGAT, NJ — Some grocery stores around Barnegat are offering special shopping hours for senior citizens during the novel-coronavirus outbreak.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, adults 65 years or older have a higher risk of developing severe symptoms from COVID-19.

Some grocery stores around New Jersey have begun to offer special, early-morning shopping hours for senior citizens and other at-risk populations. Here's where you can find them around Barnegat.

ACME Markets: 7-9 a.m. Monday through Friday for shoppers 60 and older and other at-risk members of the community.
