Barnegat Boys Basketball Earns Historic Win Over Lakewood

Barnegat High defeats Lakewood for the first time in team history in a 53-48 victory

The Barnegat High School boys basketball team defeated Lakewood, 53-48 in overtime, Thursday night, beating the Piners for the first time in team history, according to Barnegat athletic director John Germano.

Barnegat's Sean Morris converted two layups in overtime to propel the victory. Brendan Revello recorded 21 points, including four 3-pointers in the Shore Conference win.

Morris and Brian Finucan each scored 10 points for Barnegat, while Mike Revello scored nine. The Bengals improved to 5-7.
