Barnegat Boys Basketball Nets Another Buzzer-Beating Victory
Sean Morris converted the game-winning score off an inbound pass to clinch Barnegat's second buzzer-beating win in a week.
The Barnegat boys basketball team has a knack for clutch play, earning their second buzzer-beating victory in four days. Senior Sean Morris leaped for an inbound pass in the paint. He stayed in the air and converted the shot at the buzzer to give the Bengals a 38-36 victory Thursday against Manchester.
The Bengals (9-11 according to MaxPreps) outscored the Falcons, 14-10, in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback. Barnegat has won three straight games.
Barnegat also defeated Lacey, 48-46, on Monday night with a 3-pointer from senior Brian Finucan as time expired.
