Barnegat Drive-In Movie Series Announced

BARNEGAT, NJ — Drive-in movies will return to the big screen in Barnegat this weekend.

There will be eight movies in Barnegat’s 2021 drive-in movie series, beginning Saturday, May 1 through October.

All movies will be shown at the public dock at 427 E. Bay Ave. Movies will start at dusk around 8 p.m. each night.

Here’s the screening schedule:

• May 1: "The Croods: A New Age”
• June 19: "Jaws"
• June 29: “The Little Mermaid”
• July 13: "A Bug’s Life”
• July 27: “Cars”
• Aug. 10: “Guardians of the Galaxy”
• Aug. 24: “Wall-E”
• Oct. 23: “Hocus Pocus” (Lawn movie at 13 Birdsall Street)

The Lunch Wagon, Kona Ice and Nully's Ice Cream will be selling refreshments during the shows.
