Barnegat Lighthouse State Park To Appear In New ABC Drama

BARNEGAT LIGHT — It's only fair the rest of the nation gets to see the Barnegat Lighthouse's beauty. Barnegat Lighthouse State Park will appear at 10 p.m. Tuesday night in the first episode of ABC's "Emergence."

The show filmed earlier this year at Barnegat Lighthouse State Park and Island Beach State Park. Both parks will appear in the first episode, according to the State Park Service.

Although they filmed around the Jersey Shore, the program actually centers around Long Island's Peconic Bay.

Here's the premise, according to ABC: "A police chief takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident and the investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined."
