Barnegat, Stafford Halloween 2020: Hours, Activities, Safety Maps

BARNEGAT, NJ — Halloween in 2020 may be like no other. Here's what to know about celebrating in Barnegat and Stafford.

Trick-Or-Treating

Barnegat set trick-or-treating hours for 12-8 p.m. Saturday. Curfews should be deemed age-appropriate but no later than 10 p.m.

Stafford Township didn't release trick-or-treat hours, but the Recreation Department offered guidance.

Virtual Halloween Parade

The Halloween Parade is a 40-year tradition in Stafford, but this year's will be a little different. Send Stafford Recreation photos for the virtual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest.

Include names of anyone in the photo, descriptions of costumes and ages and grades of all participating. It's open to all age. Stafford Recreation will publish photos on their website, and judges will choose winners in different categories.

The overall winner will get placed on the giant Brummer Family Award Trophy.

Submit to recreation@staffordnj.gov by Monday.
