Car Hits Deer, Starting Fire On Parkway In Manahawkin
The southbound right lane on the Garden State Parkway was closed for an hour.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A driver hit a deer, which caused a fire Friday morning on the Garden State Parkway in Manahawkin.
The crash took place at about 9:30 a.m., just south of Exit 63A on the southbound side, resulting in "some flames," according to State Police Sergeant Jeff Flynn.
The fire was extinguished. The right lane was closed from 9:49 to 10:48 a.m. The driver was uninjured.
