'Dedicated And Loving:' Barnegat Man Mourned After Fatal Crash

BARNEGAT, NJ — Michael J. Severin loved hunting and the outdoors. But more than anything, his wife and two daughters were his world.

Severin, 37, died Saturday in a single-car accident in Eagleswood. "Big Mike" leaves behind his wife, Jennifer, and daughters Liliana (4) and Adalina (2). A GoFundMe will help Severin's family with expenses.

"Michael was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend," said Kait Rizzo, Severin's sister-in-law who started the GoFundMe.

Severin loved posting cherished moments with his family.

"If I wasn't an old fart I would have more kids they are too cute And hilarious love my baby girls," Severin wrote on Facebook on the day of the accident.

As Severin's family handles emotional pain and stress, they could use assistance with the financial burden.

"We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide," Rizzo said. "We also encourage everyone to keep their family in their thoughts and prayers."
