Driver Sustains Head Trauma After Car Overturns In Manahawkin

The driver struck a tree before the vehicle flipped onto its roof, police said.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A driver sustained head trauma Saturday after his vehicle overturned. Officials took the driver to the Atlantic City Trauma Center.

The crash took place at 7:50 a.m. on Route 72 at Mill Creek Road. The 2015 Hyundai Sonata left the road and crashed into several landscaping objects on the Shell Gas Station property. Then the car hit a tree and flipped onto its roof.

Stafford police are investigating the crash. Any witnesses can call 609-597-1189 ext. 8436.
