Free Boat Rides In Barnegat For People With Special Needs

BARNEGAT, NJ — Barnegat's annual "Day on the Bay" is back. Free boat rides for kids and adults with special needs will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 28.

Enjoy refreshments and short boat rides at Sherer's Boat Basin on 482 East Bay Ave. All participants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver.

If you have over six people in your group or have someone using a wheelchair, contact Walt Fernandez ahead of time to make special arrangements.
