MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Don't let your pets miss out on getting festive this Halloween. The Fall Furfest and Halloween Pet Costume Parade returns Saturday to the Southern Ocean County Animal Facility.
The Pet Costumer Parade will begin registering contestants at 1 p.m., with the parade and judging of the costumes underway at 1:30 p.m.
"The costumes just seem to get better and better every year," said Daniel E. Regenye, Ocean County Health Department public health coordinator. "Dozens of residents come out for this event and they really spend a lot of time getting creative and finding unique costumes for their pet.”
