Got Clams? ReClam The Bay Does On Long Beach Island

Go to nursery sites in Surf City, Barnegat Light and Beach Haven to learn about shellfish and their role in the waters of Barnegat Bay.

Baby clams and oysters have arrived at the ReClam The Bay nurseries. You can come and see, touch and learn all about these baby shellfish and their future in helping keep Barnegat Bay healthy in the future.

This free family fun takes place weekly through October and is a great place for children of all ages and for adults.

Cattus Island County Park, 1169 Bandon Road, Toms River (off Yellowbank Road north of Fischer Boulevard -- not via the main park entrance). At the Ocean County Parks & Recreation Dock at 10 a.m., every Wednesday.

Surf City Yacht Club, 9th St. and the Bay, Surf City N. 10TH St at the Bay, North parking lot at 5 PM, every Thursday.
