Henry 'Hank' Anthony Pellegrino, Vietnam Veteran, Dies At 74

Services for Manahawkin resident will be held on Saturday.

Henry “Hank” Anthony Pellegrino of Manahawkin, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was 74.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, he lived in Hackensack and New York state prior to Manahawkin, where he resided for the last 27 years. Prior to his retirement, Henry was a captain with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department, in Hackensack. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the New Jersey PBA. Above all, he was selflessly devoted to his family.

He is predeceased by his sister Marie Martin.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Laura (nee Rosenberger), his six sons and their spouses; Thomas Pellegrino and Myh, Michael Pellegrino and Debra, Dennis Pellegrino and Ron, Joseph Pellegrino and Michelle, Frank Pellegrino and Vita, Donald Pellegrino and Jessica, his two daughters and their spouses; Diane Pellegrino and Amy, and Denise Mendes and Eduardo, his ten grandchildren; Daniel, Victoria, Cassandra and spouse Nikolas, Bryanna, Amanda, Olivia, Annie, Frankie, Alex and Dionna, and two great grandchildren; Brandon and Jordon. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, with a service at 5:45 p.m. at the Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Cremation will be held privately.
