Intoxicated Manahawkin Driver Overturns Car: Police
The 18-year-old's car hit a curb and overturned, Stafford police said.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — An intoxicated driver overturned his vehicle Friday morning on Mermaid Drive, according to Stafford police. Garret Clapper, 18, lost control and hit a curb at about 6:30 a.m., authorities said.
The Manahawkin resident was driving a 2003 Chevy Silverado northbound during the accident. No injuries were reported.
Clapper was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane, police said. He was released pending a future court date.
