Island Beach and Other State Parks Charging Now Through Labor Day

Entrance fees begin for state parks.

New Jersey state parks are charging entrance fees from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Gates will be staffed and an entrance fee charged at state parks such as Island Beach, Allaire and Cheesequake state parks.

Additional fees for other services such as camping or fishing are also in place, often year-round.

A $50 state park pass is available, permitting entry into the state parks. Those with a pass do not have to pay the entry fee. You could also buy a daily pass.

Senior citizens and the disabled can get a pass to get into all state parks for free.
