LBI's Fantasy Island To Host Labor Day Weekend Fireworks
Did you miss the Fourth of July tradition? Fireworks will soon light up the Long Beach Island sky.
BEACH HAVEN, NJ — Did you miss the Fourth of July tradition? Fireworks will light up the Long Beach Island sky on Labor Day weekend. Fantasy Island Amusement Park will hold a fireworks spectacular from 9-9:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6.
Fireworks can be seen between 7th and 8th Streets. Guests can watch them from the park, but social distancing and safety protocols will be in place. Fantasy Island asks that all park attendees wear face masks.
"If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, cough chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath difficulty breathing, or sore throat, please stay home and contact your medical provider," the event post says.

Most of New Jersey's Fourth of July fireworks displays were postponed or canceled because of coronavirus concerns and related crowding restrictions. But Long Beach Township hosted a fireworks show July 4, recommending that the public watch from a rooftop deck, boat or street end.
