A Little Egg Harbor man is accused of stealing a credit card from a patient under his care while he worked at a nursing home in Manahawkin.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A Little Egg Harbor man is accused of stealing a credit card from a patient under his care while he worked at a nursing home in Manahawkin.
Michael Simmons, 32, was employed as a certified nurse assistant at Genesis Elder Care between 2018 and 2020, police said.
Simmons allegedly stole a credit card from a patient under his care, police said. The stolen credit card was later used at various locations to purchase high-end electronics.

Simmons has been charged with multiple theft related offenses.
He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail on a no bail warrant pending a future court appearance in Ocean County Superior Court.
