Little Egg Harbor Trio Arrested In Brick Drug Busts: Police
The arrests resulted from ongoing investigations into drug distribution, Brick police said.
BRICK, NJ — Three Little Egg Harbor residents were among five from Ocean County arrested Friday in a pair of drug busts near the Wawa at 116 Brick Blvd., Brick police said Saturday.
The arrests were the result of ongoing investigations by the Brick Township Police Department's Street Crimes Unit into reports of drug activity in the area, Sgt. Jim Kelly said.
Shayna Palmieri, 31, and Dandre Tubbs, 33, both of Toms River, were arrested about 11:30 a.m. Friday. Authorities saw Palmieri get out of her vehicle and into the passenger side of one belonging to Tubbs, and conduct what appeared to be a drug transaction, Kelly said. A motor vehicle stop led to the discovery of 200 wax folds of heroin and 10 Xanax pills, he said.

Palmieri was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, and possession of heroin and paraphernalia; Tubbs was charged with distributing heroin, possession of heroin, possession of Xanax, and paraphernalia, Kelly said. Both are being held at the Ocean County Jail.
Less than an hour later, another Street Crimes Unit detective saw a person in a white sedan engaged in a hand-to-hand transaction with the occupants of another vehicle, Kelly said.

Police pulled over the car and arrested three Little Egg Harbor residents on drug charges, he said.
Steven Weber, 55, was found to be in possession of 210 wax folds of heroin, about 5 grams of crack-cocaine, a large amount of cash and a pill bottle containing urine. He was charged with distributing heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession with the intent to distribute crack, possession of heroin, possession of crack, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a device used to defraud the administration of a drug test, and several motor vehicle violations, Kelly said. Weber is being held at the Ocean County Jail.
Alysia Wojceichowski, 27, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack, possession of hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia, Kelly said. She is being held at the Ocean County Jail.
Stephanie Lewicki, 37, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of hypodermic syringes, Kelly said. She was released on a summons.
The cash and the vehicle were seized, Kelly said.
