Living On The Veg To Open New Manahawkin Location

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Living on the Veg, a vegetarian deli and juice bar, announced they will be opening a second location in Manahawkin at the end of May.

The Long Beach Township restaurant has been serving up a diverse variety of plant-based foods since 2005.

Living on the Veg's second location will take the place of Happy Habits in the Manahawkin Mart.

“We hope to continue being able to bring you healthy food options on the mainland year round,” the restaurant announced on social media.

The eatery’s all-vegan menu features buffalo tempeh strips, nachos with a vegan cheese sauce, tofu and seitan-based sandwiches, burritos and wraps.

They also offer house-made soups, desserts, fresh fruit smoothies and juices. Their website is updated daily with new specials.

Living on the Veg’s location on Long Beach Island is open for curbside pick-up Thursday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The restaurant’s new location will be at 657 E. Bay Ave. in Manahawkin.
