Manahawkin Filmmaker's Movie Makes Garden State Film Festival
'To Make a Long Story Short' by Sal DelGiudice will screen this month in Asbury Park.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A Manahawkin filmmaker's movie will hit the big screen. "To Make a Long Story Short," directed by Sal DelGiudice, will screen at the Garden State Film Festival.
The film follows a talented musician who leads his band through 20-plus years of performing for adoring fans. Rick Tisch, a Jersey Shore musician, is 3 feet tall and uses a wheelchair. He is determined to make his group, Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns, a top draw and one of the best party bands New Jersey has ever seen.
The film will play from 1:45-3:45 p.m. March 28 at The Paramount Theatre (1300 Ocean Ave., Asbury Park).

"We are extremely proud to present 'To Make a Long Story Short' as a part of our 18th Annual Film Festival in Asbury Park," said Lauren Concar Sheehy, the festival's executive director, "and to showcase the exceptional talent from our state as well as serve as a launching pad for the next generation of filmmaker."
The Garden State Film Festival features world premieres, appearances from Hollywood stars and industry panels. The festival runs from March 25-29.

Individual screening tickets are $15 in advance and $17 at the door. Weekend passes are $55 in advance and $60 at the door.
Day Passes are also available. The Saturday Day Pass is $30 and Sunday Day Pass is $25. Tickets are available at https://www.gsff.org/2020-films/ and at festival box offices at each venue.
