Manahawkin MVC To Close 2 Weeks After Positive Coronavirus Test

The vehicle center won't reopen until Jan. 7 because an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The Motor Vehicle Commission facility in Manahawkin closed after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus, the MVC announced Monday. The vehicle center will reopen Jan. 7.

The employee who tested positive was last in the center on Dec. 23.

Customers can locate alternative Centers to visit by using the MVC's Facilities Location page.
