Nautical Fun Awaits At Barnegat's Pirates Day
Pirate's Day takes place Saturday, Sept. 7 and features over 175 vendors.
BARNEGAT, NJ — Barnegat's annual Pirate's Day has almost made it to shore. Pirate's Day takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Route 9 and East Bay Avenue.
The event will feature over 175 craft, nonprofit, business and food vendors, according to the Barnegat Township Recreation Department. There will also be live music with two bandstands, a farmers market and, of course, pirates.
Pirate's Cove will feature Vahalla's Pirates, Pirates of Fortunes Folly and Sea Dogs Band. Pirate's Day also features a costume contest.

The main stage will feature the following:
- 10 a.m.: Jersey Sure Cats
- noon: Madeline Smith
- 2 p.m.: Strictly 60's
