Ocean Township Police To Offer Free Car Seat Inspections

WARETOWN, NJ — Ocean Township police will offer a free car seat check-up session on Monday.

Trained child safety seat technicians will assist parents with child seat inspections from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Waretown Fire Department.

Technicians will check the manufacturer recall list to ensure that seats are safe.

Officers will also provide tips about seat belts, latch systems and air bags.

Appointments are not required.
