Road Work To Close Part Of Route 72 Eastbound On Friday

STAFFORD, NJ — An overnight detour will be in effect in the eastbound lanes of Route 72 from Marsha Drive to Morris Boulevard beginning Friday evening, Stafford Township police said.

Traffic from Route 72 will be detoured onto Marsha Drive, Jennifer Lane and Morris Boulevard from Friday at 6:30 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m.

The road will be closed for work by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). Stafford Township police said any traffic concerns should be directed to the NJDOT.

Police advise motorists to monitor their speed in these residential areas, which is 25 miles per hour.
