Part Of Long Beach Blvd. Remains Flooded Amid Storm
The road is closed from 13th Street through 31st Street, Long Beach Township police said Friday morning.

LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ — Part of Long Beach Boulevard remains closed because of flooding as of 10 a.m. Friday. Officials blocked off the road from 13th Street in North Beach Haven to 31st Street in Brant Beach.
Drivers can use Ocean Boulevard and Beach Avenue, according to Long Beach Township police. Officials advised against driving through flood waters, if possible.
Authorities closed Long Beach Boulevard Thursday night from 12th to 27th Street and 32nd to 92nd Street because of flooding.

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory for Ocean County through 1 p.m. Friday. This flooding level tends to affect the most vulnerable roads in coastal and bayside communities and inland tidal waterways, according to officials.
The NWS also expects rain to continue mainly before 1 p.m., with gusts up to 35 mph.
