Scott R. Beriont Of Long Beach Island Dies At 55
A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held on Saturday in Ship Bottom.

Scott R. Beriont, of Long Beach Island, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, January 28, 2018. He was 55.
Scott was born to Gregory J. Beriont and Doris McNair Beriont on March 23, 1962 in Linden, NJ. He graduated from Linden High School, where he excelled on the school varsity football team, as did his father before him and all of his brothers. After graduation, he attended college in Florida, moving on to live for brief periods in California and Houston. On his return to New Jersey, Scott was employed as a color matcher for Selective Coatings and Inks, Inc., working his way up to Quality Control Manager.

Scott was predeceased by his father, Gregory and brother, Kyle Beriont.
He is survived by his mother, sisters Kathleen Wesson (Robert), of Bellingham, WA, Lynne Beriont Virginia (Joseph), of Tuckerton and Kelley Beriont (Paul), of Andover, NJ, brothers Walter Beriont of Maynard, MA., Gregory D. Beriont (Susan), of Colts Neck, Kevin Beriont, of Long Beach Island, Kerry Beriont (Nancy), of San Diego, CA, and Chris Beriont (Rosa), of Westfield. He was a proud and loving uncle to three talented nephews, Henry, Patrick, and Max, as well as three bright and accomplished nieces, Jane, Kate, and Lydia.

Scott was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman. He was passionate about football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and loved skiing, golfing, fishing, and travelling - both here and abroad.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Scott's Life from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 1119 Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 100, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101. Scott, you will be missed.
